Digital Marketing Manager - RWA


Pay: 24,400 pro rata
Part time: 19 hours per week
Deadline: noon, 31st July 2017 

Working within the remit of the RWA’s artistic vision, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the strategic marketing of the RWA across all digital platforms.
Responsibility includes planning, managing and delivering the digital marketing strategy for the organisation, and to work with the Marketing Manager to consolidate the RWA’s position as one of the key galleries in the region, and towards a stable and highly visible future. In addition, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining the RWA’s profile through creative use of its own, recently redeveloped website and of social media, encouraging new audiences, deepening media relations, consolidating networks and reaching revenue targets through e-commerce, including overseeing the implementation of Shopify.

Bristol Old Vic is the longest continuously-running theatre in the UK and following a £12.5 million redevelopment project in 2012, is now one of the most modern and comfortable with state of the art rehearsal rooms, a dramatically extended forestage and precision-engineered sightlines giving audiences an even more intimate theatrical experience.
We are now embarking on the next phase of the redevelopment, which will result in a Front of House space worthy of our customers. We are recruiting the new role of Digital Marketing Officer to support the Marketing Team and be responsible for shaping Bristol Old Vic’s digital strategy, overseeing its websites, generating innovative contact across all digital channels and building our online communities.   
You will have experience of planning and implementing original digital marketing campaigns, and be familiar with social media, website content management systems, email marketing software, design and video editing software.

About the role
You will contribute to the developing area of 3D Digital Design and Making within the Bath School of Art and Design, ensuring that the facility systems encourage experimentation and learning within a practical and safe environment.
You will contribute to the delivery of 3D Digital Design technical skills especially in the production of objects using CAD/CAM equipment such as 3D printing or CNC milling, in support of academic programmes or research.  The role demands the ability to provide planned technical demonstrations to groups or individuals and technical support to students in self-directed projects or for research activities.
You will liaise with academic programme/module leaders to plan activities, which reflect expertise, current and emerging thinking in 3D Digital Design and Making.
You would also be expected to make an active contribution to the range of other work and responsibilities carried out by all technicians working within the School, such as contributing to the transportation of work/objects and light construction for activities such as external events, degree shows and exhibitions.
About you
You will have in-depth knowledge and experience of working within the area of 3D Digital Design and Making, including experience with 3D digital printing, CAD/CAM equipment, Adobe CS and 3D software.  You will hold an NVQ4, NEBSS or Degree in relevant practical subject or significant relevant professional experience in this specialist area.  You will have strong communication skills, a keen interest in higher education and be able to evidence a pro-active approach to development and safety in the specialist 3D Digital Design subject area.  Flexibility as well as the ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team is essential.

Fluent Spanish (Latin American) and English speaker wanted to work with Twofour Digital on 31st July (working from home or in our office) – translating and transcribing footage from a recent shoot in Honduras.
