NB: Successful candidates will need to invoice SKINT Theatre Ltd for this work and be responsible for their own tax.
The Project:
SKINT Theatre is a bold and brash new performance and night-life event aiming to bring Affordable, Social, Astonishing theatre to the heart of Bristol.
The project follows on from our first festival in July 2016 where we had 6 artists performing a total of 60 shows. This year we're going bigger and better, hoping to have 11 artists performing a total of 198 shows. A new show starts every 5 minutes!
We are looking to recruit 2 Box Office Assistants to ensure the smooth running of the festival. If you are interested in applying to both roles please do one application and indicate so in your cover letter.
Your Role:
Box Office
  • Provide information to members of the public
  • Sell tickets to all shows
  • Check capacities and liaise with the Operations Manager
  • Manage complimentary tickets as instructed by the Directo
As with many roles such as this, there will be tasks beyond what is listed above that may require your attention and input.

Bristol Music Trust is recruiting for Box Office Assistants, to join our busy Customer Service team at Colston Hall, the South-West’s largest concert hall and Bristol’s major music venue.  You will be required to provide an efficient and effective box office service to hirers, promoters and the general public, providing high standards of customer care at all times.  The successful candidates will be proactive, enthusiastic, and well-organised, ideally with previous experience of working in a box office, and an intuitive understanding of what makes for great customer service.  You will be expected to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the venue.
