Creatives, Artists and Makers Wanted! Paper Arts Bristol

Are you looking to sell your work this Christmas? Then we have the perfect opportunity for you. Join Bristol’s Makers Market Collective!
Our bustling studios located in the shopping centre of Bristol will give you the space and time to work on your creative projects, with the added bonus of transforming into a market twice a week on the run up to Christmas, which will be open to the public. That’s 25 opportunities to sell your work!
This is a very special opportunity to become part of a collective of creatives that can support each other to create, make and sell.
Being located in Broadmead above Co-LAB, the Makers Market will benefit from Co-LAB’s existing customers and Broadmead’s large footfall. With 1000’s of customers already using the building to purchase locally made products and gifts at Christmas, the Market is perfectly located to appeal to a targeted customer base.
We will also be promoting the Makers Market Collective throughout the Christmas period on Co-LAB and PAPER Arts social networks, highlighting each maker with their own profile, including online links to their work.
For just £150pm you get your own studio space with a market stall. We are looking for a group of people to come together as a collective, so there’s a 3 month commitment from the 1st October to the 31st December with the potential to extend into 2017.
This unique opportunity could be yours, just email hello@paperarts.org.uk to register your interest and we’ll send you an application pack.
Register your interest by Tuesday the 20th September, to be invited to a meet and greet, where you’ll get the opportunity to meet others interested in being part of the collective and can get detailed information about the Makers Market on Thursday 22nd September at PAPER.
We can’t wait to hear from you!

Victorian Christmas at Blaise House - Volunteers needed.

Bristol Museum Volunteers have a lovely Victorian Christmas day planned at Blaise next weekend and they could do with a few more pairs of hands, primarily to help run the craft activities (they will be led by a freelancer), and some general setting up and packing down.
If you are interested in helping out and available on the 6th of December from 10am – 4.30pm please let them know. There will only be a limited number of spaces for this role so if you want to be involved get in touch via museum.volunteering@bristol.gov.uk
Thank you for your time and commitment,
