Part time:  flexible hours, 1-2 days per week dependent on requirement of project). Fixed Term Contract. 52 days in total.  

Pay: £200 - £250 per day, depending on experience.

Deadline: Midnight, Wednesday 17th September 2014 

You will be working on a self-employed basis, contracted by ICIA University of Bath. Hot desk facilities will be available at ICIA (Institute of Contemporary Interdisciplinary Arts), University of Bath, Claverton Down, Bath BA2 7AY.

Much of the work for this role can be completed remotely, although at times you will need to be available for face-to-face meetings in Bath and the surrounding area. You will also need to be available in Bath on 5 Feb 2015 for the Centre for the Arts launch.

Background:

ICIA produces an ambitious programme of visual and performing arts based around an annual theme, as well as a full participatory programme. ICIA’s interdisciplinary emphasis sees it working not only across art-forms but also with other academic departments of the University of Bath. Our work is for students, University staff, and a much wider constituency of audiences and participants across Bath and beyond.

Our new Centre for the Arts is due to open in February 2015 and, at this exciting time of our development, we are looking to use the opportunity to raise our profile in the arts and local press.

Project Producer needed

LOW PROFILE are recruiting a Project Producer to help ensure the smooth running of their forthcoming projectPicture In The Paper, commissioned by ICIA (Bath) and supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.

ABOUT THE PROJECT:
During 2014, LOW PROFILE will be staging a series of group photographs of the people of Bath (and the surrounding areas) that will be on permanent public display at the University of Bath’s new Centre for the Arts and published weekly in the Bath Chronicle during November. Throughout Picture In The Paper, LOW PROFILE will be meeting with existing groups, as well as seeking out and bringing together individuals who have something in common but who may never have met. They are interested in exploring and celebrating group identity, temporary allegiances and the hobbies or interests that draw people together

April 2014 -­ February 2015 (part time, flexible hours, 1­3 days per week dependent on requirement of project).
