Owl Barn Residency

The Owl Barn Residency is looking for new artists in residence!
The Owl Barn is a creative space in Gloucestershire for artists, makers and thinkers.
This is a place to focus and develop your creative practice, as well as possibilities to engage with the local community and the land.
Residents are offered a free studio space in the Owl Barn, a space to live in the Parlour below and basic (mainly home grown) food.
We run weekly art classes with local community groups, including a homeless shelter, an old people's home and a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre. We also work in the gardens around the Owl Barn learning about permaculture and food production through growing our own food. We are expanding a young forest garden, planting out a pond, and growing delicious things in the polytunnel.
We are looking for residents to join us at the beginning of August for a three month residency. We will be looking for more residents later in the Autumn, so do get in touch if you are interested. We usually have four residents in the community at one time.
Visit www.owlbarnresidency.org or contact owlbarnresidency@gmail.com for details.
To apply, please fill in the form on our website. Apply asap as we may fill the position before the deadline.
