Paintings in Hospitals is seeking a Regional Coordinator to increase the number of health and social care sites using its services in the South West.
Based at home, the Regional Coordinator for the South West (covering: Bristol, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset, and Dorset)will generate artwork loans and renew existing loans on behalf of the charity. Working with volunteers, they will facilitate engagement activities in relation to the selection process and oversee transportation and installation of artworks in the charity’s art collection, located at Southmead Hospital, Bristol.
Paintings in Hospitals is a registered charity that uses art and creativity to improve the wellbeing of people with illness, addiction, autism and disability along with the people caring for them. Through our work we create uplifting environments, benefiting the lives of 1.8 million patients, visitors and staff every year.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), knowledge of the health and/or social care sectors and a passion for visual arts. A motivated individual, you will be results-driven with a track record of achieving agreed targets. You will also have the organisational skills to prioritise and manage a diverse workload and the ability to relate to people from a wide range of backgrounds.
The successful applicant will have two years’ previous sales experience, excellent account management skills and have an understanding of how Paintings in Hospitals’ services can improve health and wellbeing.
