One month of Bristol art events which will take place in multiple studios, pop-up galleries and leading locations across the city. Relying on the collaboration from multiple artists, studios and collectives to join forces and create interactive dynamic work during over the course of this melancholy month.
There are a number of ways to get involved:

-We are looking for proposals for exhibitions, performances, group shows and musicians. It is completely open, but if you have something to show; want to try out a new idea; need a platform then get in contact.

Asian Arts Agency are seeking to appoint a dynamic Project Co-ordinator for the delivery of its events and touring programme.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for all operational aspects of touring, including tour booking and management; delivery of the touring and events programme; liaising with artists, festivals and venues; and ensuring that all the related administrative and operational procedures are run efficiently.

As one of the UK's premier Asian Arts development agencies, we develop, commission, produce and promote a range of music events and touring productions. This includes visual arts, contemporary music, film, festivals, exhibitions and long-term theme-based projects in education and participation. Our vision is to mainstream high quality South Asian Arts in the South West of England, nationally and internationally. The Agency is currently working on a range of exciting and innovative national and international projects.

Paper Arts - Open Christmas Exhibition

SHOWCASE YOUR ART SOMEWHERE SPECIAL THIS HOLIDAY SEASON WITH OUR CHRISTMAS EXHIBITION

Do you want your artwork to be on display for four-weeks over the Christmas period? We are currently taking in submissions for our Christmas exhibition, ‘100 under a Hundred’!

This year, we will fill our gallery space with 100 pieces from local artists, showing off the breadth of creative talent Bristol has to offer.

The theme of our Christmas exhibition is simple: 100 pieces of framed artworks all priced at £100 or less. That’s it!

From there, it’s up to you what you submit. We invite all of you talented artists, designers, print-makers and doodlers to submit your artwork for the chance to be a part of 100 under a Hundred.

M Shed Volunteers Required for Exhibition Event

We are running an event in conjunction with the “Open For Business” exhibition currently in the temporary exhibition gallery at M Shed. We will need 6 volunteers if possible who will help with following:

· Pop up photo exhibition on top floor foyer, copying peoples images of working life of Bristol and capturing their stories

· Pop up photo booth for families, around the subject of what children want to be when they grow up

· Generally helping with letting people know about the various activities / talks going on that day.

Antlers are looking for volunteers to be part of their upcoming exhibition You Move Me featuring a site-specific installation by Jo Lathwood and other commissioned artists. This opportunity offers the chance to gain experience in the following areas: install, invigilation, public relations and events.

Role Breakdowns:

Technical Assistants will have a hands-on role helping with exhibition build and take down.

Exhibition Assistants will be helping when the exhibition is open. It is important you feel confident interacting with the public and talking about artworks in an exhibition context.

Two assistants needed for sound installation in Bristol

I am a visual artist, vocalist and performance maker living and working in Bristol. Between 10th-16thNovember 2014 I will be making and exhibiting a voice-based sound installation at The Edwardian Cloakroom in Clifton, Bristol. This will be part of the Bristol Creative Spaces autumn programme put together by Bristol City Council.

I am looking for two people to help with invigilation and the smooth running of the exhibition and live performances. Those sharing an interest in interdisciplinary arts and artist-run events would get the most out of this experience. Applications as a pair are welcome.

The selected applicants would be needed to invigilate together between 12:30 – 20:30 on Friday the 14th November. Then one person would be needed to invigilate with me between 16:30-20:30 on Saturday the 15th, and the same on Sunday the 16th.

As this is a small scale self-funded project, I have a limited budget. I can pay a fee of £40 per person for the Friday, £20 for the Saturday, and £20 for the Sunday. 

Reliability, punctuality, a neat appearance and ease with public interaction will be important in this role.

Exhibition Organiser needed at Create Centre

EXHIBITION ORGANISER WANTED

Part Exchange Co is looking for an Exhibition Organiser to be part of their Earthed residency at the Create Centre during Big Green Week 2014, in Bristol.

The role will include working with the artistic team and the project manager to develop and then deliver on the exhibition vision and structure, and to be on site during the residency ensuring the findings and creations of the residency activities are captured within the exhibition in an accessible and inspiring manner.

The exhibition will remain on show at the Create gallery space until 30th June.

Freelance fee - £1800 

Contract dates -  May-June 2014  Residency date - 14th-18th June.
