Company Manager - Artspace Lifespace

Pay: £25,350.00 - £29,250.00 pro rata
Reports to: Board of Trustees
Responsible for: Project Managers/Coordinators, Finance Officer
Hours: 20-30 hours per week to be agreed
Work Pattern: flexible as required by role (occasional weekend/evening meetings)
Location: Various
Type of Contract: 12 month fixed with possibility to extend
Probation period: 3 months

Introduction

We are looking for a new Company Manager to spearhead the next stage of development and progress for our organisation.  We are at a crucial point with many opportunities around and ahead and are looking for someone to fully take these on and build on the success and skills that have been built up to date.
The Company Manager will have overall responsibility for all aspects of the Charity’s activities, ensuring its financial and human resources are used effectively to achieve the Charity’s goals, and working to develop the Charity’s strategy.  They will collaborate with the Board to ensure the Charity fulfils its responsibilities of governance and compliance.  The Company Manager will protect and promote the reputation of the Charity and ensure stakeholders on every level experience excellence in service.

Assistant to the Managing Directory (Volunteer Role) Arts2Life

Arts2Life UK Ltd is seeking applications from a wide range of backgrounds for the role of Assistant to the Managing Director. 

This role is being advertised due to the current post holder moving to London. There will be a good hand-over period associated with this role. 

About Us: 
Arts2Life are a Bristol-based arts agency with the aim of raising the profile of the hidden arts and the people behind them. We recently organised a busking event at a local bar, which involved performances from 8 street artists (all with links to Bristol) to raise money for homeless charity Shelter. All staff are volunteers and are involved because of a passion for the arts. Although this a volunteer role and many of us work around our full/part-time jobs, we do require a level of commitment from all staff in order to make sure that progress is made.

The Role: 
As Assistant to the Managing Director, you will undertake a variety of different tasks. As a representative of Arts2Life UK, you will deal with a range of people including Staff, Local businesses, clients, potential candidates, members of the public and more. This role involves the handling of sensitive documentation and therefore a good level of discretion is paramount.
