Cirque Bijou are offering a paid internship for an emerging arts administrator. As part of a small, busy and exciting team you will gain insight into how an arts and events company is run. This is an excellent opportunity that includes supported study to provide a grounding in basic finance which will be invaluable in progressing your career as an arts administrator.
We will support you to complete AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) Level 2 or 3 course at a local college of higher education, studying on day-release for tuition days only. Seewww.aat.org.uk for further information.

Duties Include:
- Answering the phone and emails
- Day to day finance including invoicing and data input
- Organising travel/accommodation arrangements for events
- Contracting
- General administration
- Helping organise events
- General office housekeeping duties
Person Specification:
ESSENTIAL
- Excellent communication skills
- Self motivated, highly organised, flexible
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage own workload and prioritise when necessary
- High level of numeracy
- Working knowledge of word & excel
- Ambition to succeed in the arts
DESIRABLE
- Knowledge of SAGE accounting software
- Knowledge of apple mac computers
- Experience of working in an arts environment
- Maths A-level
