Call Out for Artists – Now Open

Now in its third year Tempting Failure returns to Bristol UK, on November 7th & 8th 2014.  

To be held at The Island: the former city police station

Tempting Failure is keen to engage with proposals from Noise Artists, Experimental Sound, Body Artists, Video Artists, One-on-One makers, Installation or Transient pieces, Performance Artists (large or small scale) and any Transgressive Artists whose work challenges boundaries or preconceptions of practice.  

This is a paid opportunity and additionally each selected artist will also receive a complete package of in-kind support, production, technical liaison and documentation. 

We are keen to hear from artists at all stages of their own careers.

Tempting Failure is a platform for Live Art, Noise Art and Performance Art, it was created to raise the profile of artists who choose to actively engage with risk within their practice, find it hard to be programmed in a supportive manner, or as established artists would like to challenge preconceived notions of their artwork or any given enquiry. Tempting Failure's ethos elevates, promotes and celebrates their work; fostering artistic networks through a legacy of support, collaboration, open discussion and education.
