Print/Graphic Design Apprentice

Busy garment printing company in Swindon looking for an print/graphic design apprentice. 

Job Description 

The successful candidate will be required to assist with the following duties: 

- Producing detailed, commercial artwork 
- Producing garment prints & embroidery 
- Handling customer requests for designs, prints & embroidery 
- Creating product descriptions 
- Design advertisement materials 
- Researching and identifying garment decoration key trends 

Other duties include: 

- Assisting customers via email and phone 
- Greeting customers face to face 
- Assisting with taking collection and sending post 
- Assisting with handling inventory

- Computer skills 
- Experience of using Microsoft Office 
- Strong communication skills 
- Excellent verbal and written English 
- Good listening skills 
- Attention to details 
- Good timekeeping 
- Punctuality 
- Excellent work ethic 
- Be a good team player 

Beneficial skills 

- Use of graphic software packages, such as Corel Draw or Adobe Photoshop 

Qualifications 

- 5 GCSE's A-C including English and Maths or equivalent 

Working hours: 9am - 3pm Mon-Thu with 0.5 hour lunch break, 9am-1pm Fri 
Location: Pembroke Centre, Cheney Manor Industrial Estate, Swindon, SN2 2PQ
