Casting Call for two actors

CASTING CALL: DEATH AND THE PLOUGHMAN
The Mechanical Animal Corporation is seeking actors for its upcoming production of Death and the Ploughman:
1 male - playing age 30-45
1 female - playing age 28-35

Essential: Good speakers of text and verse and an interest in site-specific work.
Desirable: Devising experience, singing and choreography/movement skills (not acrobatics). Experience of major roles. Open to working with a community chorus. Open to working both indoors and outdoors.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: Fri 22 November
This is a full time contract from: 24 Feb- 30 March 2014
Performances: 20 - 30 March
(10 performances incl. 2 matinees and Sunday performances)

Fee: £420 per week
Location: All rehearsals will take place in Bristol. All performances are at Arnos Vale Cemetery, Bristol.
About the production:
Death and the Ploughman

In 1401, Johannes von Saaz’s wife died in childbirth. The day afterwards he penned a lyrical dialogue against death.
Inspired by the medieval idea of the dance of death, this production explores an encounter with death within the stunning landscape (and chapel) of Arnos Vale Cemetery.
Directed by Tom Bailey (Finalist for JMK Award for emerging directors 2013) and designed by Chris Gylee (Idiot Child, Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory).
Produced in association with Tobacco Factory Theatres and Arnos Vale Cemetery Trust.
