Interview Date: Wednesday 04 December 2013
The Institute of Contemporary Interdisciplinary Arts, (ICIA), produces an ambitious programme of visual and performing arts, as well as a full participatory programme. Our interdisciplinary emphasis sees us working not only across art-forms but also with other academic departments at the University of Bath. Our work is for students, University staff, and a much wider constituency of audiences and participants across Bath and beyond.
We have recently started building our new Centre for the Arts on campus, with a scheduled opening date of early 2015. At this exciting time of our development we are looking to recruit new members to the team with experience and an enthusiasm for the arts.
We are looking to recruit a professional with a strong background in theatre and/or dance to work closely with our Creative Producer, Theatre & Dance in all aspects of the development and delivery of ICIA’s theatre and dance programme, as well as provide general administrative support to ICIA.
The successful candidate will have a passion for theatre and dance, assisting in the delivery of a wide range of music activities, including professional performances, workshops and classes, as well as support for student activities. You will also work as part of a team of Arts Assistants in the ICIA Box office as the first point of contact for customers to ensure the smooth running of box office operations and the highest standard of service and customer care.
