Bristol-based arts organisations Knowle West Media Centre is seeking an experienced person to oversee the smooth running of its technical systems and facilities.
The Creative Technology Manager will have overall responsibility for the organisation’s equipment and digital systems, and will require expert knowledge of Mac OS and Windows platforms, and experience in video, multimedia, and database and network management.
As well as overseeing the day-to-day running of a thriving digital media centre, the successful applicant will coordinate the delivery of live audio-visual events, develop the facilities that are offered to room hirers and clients in order to attract further custom, and supervise technical staff and trainees.
The Creative Technology Manager will work with a range of stakeholders, including KWMC staff, artists, local residents, and other technicians, so good communication skills are essential.
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of proven technical knowledge, organisational and management skills, and the ability to work with and instruct others with patience and enthusiasm.

Hours: 37 hours per week (five days). Flexible working (including evenings and weekends) as required by the programme.
Salary: Grade 2 – £25,257 - £27,324 per annum subject to experience.
