Life Models Wanted - Hugo Grenville

Pay: £12 per hr

Location: Gloucester Road, Bristol 


Hugo Grenville is a leading British Romantic painter, looking for female life models, starting this summer. Applicants should be aged between guide 20 and 40, and be sizes 10-16 with curves. 

Sittings take place from Mondays to Fridays and working hours vary between 9.30am to 5pm. Payment is £12 per hour. 

Sitters will be required to pose incredibly still for half an hour stints with 5 minute breaks in between, either in silence or with classical music playing. The modelling is a mixture of clothed and life, so the sitter should bring some clothes that they look flattering in, although some clothes are available in the studio.

Hugo is currently represented in by Wally Findlay Galleries in New York and Palm Beach, Studio 2000 in Holland, and has a solo exhibition at Panter and Hall in Pall Mall starting June 7th.

Stokes Croft Life Drawing with a Theatrical Twist!


Stokes Croft Life Drawing uses costumes, props and backdrops to create an inspiring, creative and theatrical alternative to traditional life drawing.
Sessions run from May 15th, at the Community Arts Space at Bristol’s Hamilton House. Classes are each Thursday at 6-8pm for 10 weeks. The aim is to complete 3-5 poses in 2 hours.
Classes are untutored, but artist Penny Tristram is on hand to give drawing tips to new students. Everyone is welcome to attend.
