Mixing Fields: Interdisciplinary Networking Event

Mixing Fields : Interdisciplinary Networking Event

Wed December 4th 2013, 6:30 - 8:30pm

Using the model of speed dating, the Mixing Fields team will facilitate one-on-one conversations in a friendly and stimulating environment, where people can meet, shed light on their specialisms and share their ideas for potential collaboration. Rather then random networking, this is a chance to meet the keen and the curious from a spectrum of backgrounds in an informal, but focused space.

Soprano singer wanted for art collaboration

Mirage is a studio-art collaboration of methods and techniques of composition in order to experiment between a soprano singer and a visual artist, myself. I look for experimentation beyond the rules of lyric music based on harmony, cadence and tones... The process will be about discussing possibilities of composition and experimentation with sound and will be presented as a performance piece/installation abroad in a prehistoric cave.
I am looking for a soprano singer based in Bristol who is interested in exploring sound, art, and intersested in collaborating as a way of learning during the process in order to create a different outcome.
((The project is in the process of appliying for funding, aiming to get it in order to make this project happening))
If you are interested contact me by email (seila_f@hotmail.com) and we can discuss it further.
