Bristol Studio Space Available for Textile Maker

We are offering a small studio space for a textile maker in our studios in Easton, Bristol. This space would suit a recent graduate or small start up textile business. 

The space is available at no cost, but would be in exchange for some work for our company at 15 hours per month. This will be a combination of practical and admin based jobs as required and would be arranged at a mutually beneficial time. 

The ideal person needs to have impeccable machine sewing skills, excellent hand sewing skills, excellent attention to detail and generally good all round making skills. Good basic admin skills would be a bonus.

The space offered is a desk space (with desk and chair included), small storage area, and shelves.  This would be for your personal use. There is also opportunity to spread out when other areas of the studios aren’t being used, including use of a large pattern cutting table. 

Access is 24 hours, 7 days a week. 

This space would be initially offered for 3 months with a view to a potential extension.

Please note this space will not suit someone with a very messy artistic practice.

Studio Spaces Available - Loft 6D

Loft 6D is an independent artist led space based within the top floor of the Old Malthouse building, located in BS2 – situated between Cabot Circus, Old Market and Easton. The space is run by artists, for artists – we are an active group who work across a broad range of fields.

From December 1st 2014 we will have a
range of studio spaces available to rent.

All spaces allow access to our fabrication area, which houses a wide variety of equipment, the project space which is used for small scale events and exhibitions by studio holders and external users, as well as kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Office Space Available for Graphic Designers, Illustrators, Filmakers etc.

As a part of the expansion of our workshop at Vale Lane in Bedminster, we have been fortunate enough to add a good sized office space.

This is a co-operative workshop with a group of young professional designers and makers. We are looking for people to come in and add to our creative hub. Graphic, product and digital designers, illustrators, filmmakers and photographers are just some of the ideas we have had for the space but we are open to anybody who may feel they are suitable.
