Part Time Events Administrator - National Children's Orchestra of Great Britain




Part Time Events Administrator
2 days per week (additional days likely and as required) 
£6,500 pa - additional days at fixed rate + expenses

The National Children’s Orchestras of Great Britain is a leading charity providing musically talented children aged between 7 and 14 years from all regions of the UK with top quality orchestral training.  NCO operates 6 national aged-banded and 6 regional orchestras and operates training courses and stages public concerts and a major annual audition tour at venues across the UK.
Supporting our Operations Manager, this is an exciting opportunity involving all aspects of planning and directing musical events, including our concerts, residential courses and auditions.  Whilst the role is based in our small friendly office in Weston super Mare, frequent travel to venues UK-wide should be expected.
You will be highly organised, methodical and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.   You will be quick to learn and able to prepare and organise complex data, working confidently and efficiently to deadlines.  As a people-person you will relish contact with a variety of stakeholders and the opportunity to represent publicly the values and ethos of NCO.

Marketing Officer, Playhouse Theatre, Weston-super-Mare

Pay: 15-20k
Full Time 
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with previous marketing experience and excellent spoken and written communication skills to join our busy theatre.  As Marketing Officer, you will oversee a range of marketing activities designed to achieve both financial and audience targets with a specific focus on campaign planning & implementation, brochure design and distribution and work alongside the individual production producers with an aim to promote The Playhouse Theatre as the primary entertainment venue in North Somerset.

Assistant Music Librarian Needed

The NCO is recruiting for an Assistant Music Librarian to assist with all aspects of preparation of music for its residential courses, regional orchestras and public performances.
The NCO is a national organisation dedicated to providing musical training to talented children aged 7 - 14 and therefore plays a unique and crucial part in the development of young musicians. 
This role is particularly suitable for anyone with an interest in combining the practical aspects of music librarianship with opportunities to play an administrative support role in one of the UK’s leading organisations working with talented young musicians.

The successful candidate will share the NCO’s understanding of and commitment to the benefits which first class orchestral training offers children, both musically and socially.
