The Role
The role of Events Officer is to support and assist the Events & Operations Manager to ensure the effective organisation, management and professional delivery of all events at the venue. This includes concerts, recordings, conferences, wedding receptions, commercial dinners and education workshops. The Events Officer will also manage and co-ordinate a team of volunteer stewards that support the venue’s public events programme. This role reports directly to the Events & Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities
Events
 Liaise with artists, agents, tour managers, venue hirers and recording companies over event requirements, through both written and verbal communication
 Book and liaise with external service providers; PA, lighting, piano tuning, AV, crew
 Manage the set-up of the venue for events
 Manage the recruitment of house staff and volunteer stewards with support from the Senior House
