Education Marketing and Publicity Officer, Bristol Plays Music


Full-Time, 37 Hours, 
Salary £22,000 per annum
Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover) until July 2016

Bristol Music Trust is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and creative Marketing Officer to join our busy Marketing and Communications Team, working within our Bristol Plays Music Education Team for a fixed-term period to provide maternity cover at Colston Hall, the South West’s largest concert hall and Bristol’s major music venue.
The role would suit an experienced marketer who is used who is used to managing a role with changing and conflicting priorities and who has some experience of arts and/or education marketing.    
The successful candidate will work with us to manage our diverse music and event marketing programme and will assist our marketing team in launching the new Bristol Plays Music website. You will have excellent writing skills, a good understanding of social media and ideally a passion for music.  Experience of Adobe Suite (such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and/or Premier), Wordpress are essential.  
The successful candidate will join us at an exciting period for Colston Hall - with ambitious artistic, audience development and education aspirations and a major capital campaign, you will play a key role in cementing the Hall’s position at the heart of Bristol’s musical life.
