Diplomats of Sound is a fast growing Booking Agency based in Bristol.

We are looking for a booking agent who will be responsible for booking shows for a range of acts, mainly those that they can bring to the agency or any from our roster that you can develop in other territories.

The Agent will be pitching out to venues & promoters, ‘selling’ the artists, negotiating fees and expenses; and booking live performances including concerts, gigs, tours and occasionally radio and TV performances for artists, bands & DJs.

You will be building up relationships with our current network of promoters, venues and artists, working to make shows successful and in turn generating repeat business.

You will have your own established network of contacts of artists and promoters that you can instantly work with to generate shows.

The ideal candidate will:

Have a good working knowledge of the UK gigging circuit and potentially other territories

Have good established relationships with artists and promoters

Be a strong sales person

Be proactive and efficient

Be a quick learner

Be a good communicator – via phone and email

Be proficient with Microsoft Office

Be strong working independently and as part of our ambitious and friendly team

This role is commission based and will start as soon as possible.
