We are excited to be starting project called ‘Window Wanderland’.
A brand new trail of displays and shows in the windows of residents homes the evening of Saturday the 7th February 2015.
The invitation is to ALL residents of the Bishopston ward to show their artistic side and create a display or show in the front of their home, to form part of the trail, an opportunity to light the community up during the dark winter.
We are seeking a Volunteer to help produce this as a successful creative event, which is being made by the community, for the community.
Availability: half a day a week from 17th October (or flexible) until end of November – break in December, and the same in January, increasing in hours as the event gets closer on February 7th.
Main tasks include:
- The recruitment of volunteers
- Assist the community with their displays
- Come up with creative ideas of displays that others can try
- Social media
- Marketing
- Sponsorship
- Evaluation
- Creation of an online interactive map.
Skills and requirements:
- A good communicator
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Enthusiastic and creative
- Computer literate

Location: Bishopston Ward (Ashley Down, Horfield, St Andrews) and working from home. We are applying for funding and if successful will cover expenses.
