Paid Journalism Internship at Medavia News, Stokes Croft

Want to be a journalist? We want you to join us. Central Bristol Picture 1

DO YOU WANT TO BREAK INTO JOURNALISM?

Pay: £600 per month

Deadline: ASAP

Medavia News are looking for talented paid interns to work in our Bristol office.

Medavia News is one of the fastest-growing agencies in the UK, supplying colourful copy and commissioned photographs to a diverse range of publishers, from the Daily Telegraph and The Times to the Sun, Daily Mirror, Buzzfeed, Huffington Post and Mashable.

We’re now seeking paid interns to join us for two months in our newsroom in Stokes Croft, Bristol, and help us develop our newswire service even further.

You’ll need to be bold, imaginative and passionate about storytelling for newspapers, magazines and multi-million readership websites. You’ll have natural instincts about where to find stories people actually want to read.

You’ll have a good sense of humour and be ready to work hard. While knowledge of journalism tradecraft is beneficial, energy and ambition are far more important than experience.

In return, you’ll be able to fill your portfolio with cuttings from the world’s biggest publications, building an excellent springboard for a career in journalism. You’ll be fully trained by our News Editor and have the benefit of working with our experienced team.

You’ll be paid £600 a month for two months, with as much tea and coffee as you can drink.

We’re looking for candidates on a rolling basis, including immediate start, so email Tom Knight with your CV via here, and a short cover letter as soon as possible and he’ll be in touch soon.
