Trinity Community Arts are seeking new board members to join the organisation to assist in shaping and achieving our strategic and charitable aims

About us
Trinity's mission is to make sure everyone has the opportunity to access and shape arts and culture in Bristol. Based in The Trinity Centre, this much-loved historic landmark is a cultural hub for the city, where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together.
We are a Key Arts Provider for the City of Bristol, contributing to urban regeneration and attracting audiences from Bristol and beyond. We were awarded the VISIBLE accreditation by Community Matters in 2013 - a quality kite-mark in recognition for our community, arts and education services.
About you
As a trustee of the charity and director of the organisation, you will help to realise Trinity's core vision and and advance the organisation in line with our mission statement. Working with staff and volunteers, other board members, partners and stakeholders, you will demonstrate integrity, diplomacy, openness ambition and innovation in your decision making.
You will have the relevant expertise and energy and work with our existing board to provide measured opinions and informed decisions.
In particular, we are seeking individuals who have skills in one or more of the following areas:
  • Arts Programming
  • Community Development
  • Finance
  • Youth Education
  • Listed Buildings Management
TCA board meetings are held monthly (second Tuesday of each month) and board members take an active involvement on our activities through regular sub-group meetings, helping to support and steer the Trinity team.
