Saints, Sailors and Pilgrims

Friday 25 July

M Shed

10am – 4.00pm

Learn more about Bristol’s medieval past, handle real medieval objects, make a pilgrim badge and enjoy the chance to sail on The Matthew

Volunteers Required for:

Information Desk

• Informing visitors about the activities which are running around M Shed, as well as highlighting the harbour trips being run by The Matthew
• Handing out trails around the galleries

Craft activities

• Will be running pilgrim badge and pilgrim puppet making

Dressing Up and Photo Booth

• Helping children dress up in replica clothing and ensuring flow of visitors using the photo booth

Finds Handling

• Working with the Finds Liaison Officer to run a finds handling and identification table
• Encouraging visitors to see the related objects which are on display in the galleries
