The Royal West of England Academy is now recruiting for Volunteer Stewards for our upcoming exhibition season Back from the Front (which includes Shock & Awe: Contemporary Artists at War & Peace and Brothers in Art: Paul & John Nash)
We are looking for enthusiastic Volunteers to become a part of our welcome team, who are responsible for helping us to provide an outstanding visitor experience. You will need to be warm and welcoming and happy to chat to people whilst stewarding.
Stewards are also given opportunities to help with events, such as Private Views, helping Technicians with exhibition changeovers and occasionally, educational & family activaties.
If this sounds like to sort of thing you would be interested in please visit www.rwa.org.uk for more information about the gallery and our exciting programme of exhibitions and events.
Ideally we are looking for people who are able to commit to around 4 hours per week between July and September (and further into the future if you wish to continue!)
The current Volunteer Team is a real mix of different people from different backgrounds so this is great opportunity to network with other volunteers and staff at the RWA.
