Creative Learning Intern: Specialising in Video Game Design

Creative Learning Intern: Specialising in Video Game Design

Part Time

£6.31 per hour

Compton Dundon, Somerset

A dynamic, creative individual is needed to join our team as a Creative Learning Intern to help us develop our Game Jams and Coding educational output in Explorium’s first Creative Learning Centre in Somerset. This is a unique opportunity to become part of our dynamic social business, innovating in the field of supplementary education for children age 6 to 12 years, and gaining hands on experience with gaming software and video game design.

The role is focused on working directly with our learners and creative team to bring their ideas to life in video game form. We have an emerging programme of coding and you will be integral to this growth and direction that we take.

Knowledge and previous experience of this type of work is not essential, as we are willing to take on a graduate trainee, who has the enthusiasm and commitment to learn the industry software. A passion for bringing ideas to life through video games is a must! This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate interested in a career in Game Design who would benefit from getting some software and design experience under their belt before heading into the Video Game Industry.
