Events Management Assistant for St Pauls Carnival 2014

The role will be; to assist the Carnivals event management team in the successful delivery of production and services for the 2014 St Pauls Carnival.
(The event management of Carnival is a key area and consists of the licensing of the event and ensuring all aspects of health & safety are considered, working with the council and emergency services and the procurement of the equipment needed on for Carnival day, stages, toilets, fencing etc.)
The role will include;
  • Attending relevant meetings
  • Assisting with event related office admin e.g. stalls, resident information etc.
  • General administrative duties as required.
  • Liaising between the event management company and the carnival office.
Person Specification –
  • Must have an interest in Carnival and learning about event management
  • Basic IT literacy (i.e. Microsoft office, email) and numeracy
  • Have good record keeping skills
  • Be willing to work as part of a team
  • Flexible – some long hours required
  • Effective communication skills Positive approach to problem solving

  2. I'm not sure. I would contact them directly and find out - you can't loose anything by doing that.
