My client school wishes to appoint a graduate Teaching Assistant to support the learning of pupils across the 11-16 age and ability range. This is a pivotal role that will see the successful applicant work as an integral member of the English Department delivering learning interventions on a 1:1 and small group basis. The successful applicant will also be called upon to provide in class support within lessons. This full-time role for the forthcoming academic year that would suit a confident and passionate English graduate with an aptitude for engaging and motivating pupils of all abilities.
The successful candidate will work as an integral part of the English Faculty and get the opportunity to learn from a team of experienced and committed teachers. As well as great subject knowledge and outstanding academic ability, you will need to be confident, well-organised and able to work under your own initiative. Prior Teaching Assistant experience is preferred though not essential as training and support will be given.
